Dr. Mareyuna Lukasak

Dr. Mareyuna Lukasak grew up in Rochester, MN, where her love for animals started at a young age, inspired by her visits to the veterinary clinic with her first dog, Hope. Following her passion, she earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University in 2022. After initially practicing small animal medicine in Ohio, Dr. Lukasak moved to North Carolina to join the Foothills Pet Healthcare team, embracing new challenges and opportunities in her career.

Dr. Lukasak specializes in small animal medicine with a keen interest in holistic approaches, integrating alternative therapies with traditional veterinary practices to achieve the best results for her patients. Outside the clinic, she enjoys immersing herself in anime, collecting Pokémon cards, and playing video games. On weekends, Dr. Lukasak spends quality time with her boyfriend and her beloved pets—two cats, Hikari and Mayu, and her husky, Saber. She is dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care, striving to enhance the well-being of every pet she treats.
